Υπογράφουμε όλοι για την επιστροφή των Μαρμάρων του Παρθενώνα. Το Βρετανικό Μουσείο τα μετακινεί!

TAKE ACTION!
Reunite the Parthenon

Over 200 years ago, the Ottomans granted British ambassador Thomas Bruce, 7th Earl of Elgin, a controversial permit to pillage the Parthenon. By the time the Earl of Elgin was done, half of the Parthenon's sculptures and other pieces of Greece's cultural history were shipped off to Britain.

The time has for remedying this injustice and returning the Parthenon Marbles to Greece is now.

The state-of-the-art Acropolis museum is ready to house this critical part of Greece's cultural history.

Lend your voice to celebrities around the world who have adopted the cause of repatriation:

Greece made us. We owe them. They are ready for its return and have never needed such morale boosting achievement more. And it would be so graceful, so apt, so right. [...]  An act of friendship, atonement and an expression of faith in the future of the cradle of democracy would be so, well just so damned classy. [...] It would be a dignified, but a thrilling celebration. No need for head-hanging apology or anything silly, just a recognition that the time is now right.   -- British Actor Stephen Fry

Even in England, the polling is in favor of returning the marbles [...] There are certain pieces you look at and think, "That would be perhaps the right thing to do."  -- George Clooney, star of The Monuments Men

They've (the Parthenon Marbles) had a very nice stay here, certainly. London's gotten crowded. There's plenty of room back there in Greece.  -- Bill Murray, co-star of The Monuments Men
